Bubble Pop ("the app") is a bubble-popping learning game made for young children. We care about children's privacy. We do not collect personal information ourselves. The app shows child-safe ads through Google AdMob, as described below.
Information we collect
We collect none. The app:
- does not ask for names, email addresses, photos, location, contacts or any other personal information
- has no user accounts, sign-in, chat or social features
- contains no analytics or tracking tools of our own
- requests no device permissions (camera, microphone, location, storage or others). The only exception is internet access, which ads and the Play Store need.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows occasional full-screen ads only after a round has ended, never while a child is playing, and no more than about once every few minutes. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, a Google Play Families-certified ad network. Every ad is requested with these settings:
- child-directed treatment and under-age-of-consent treatment turned on
- maximum ad content rating G (general audiences)
- non-personalized ads only: no interest-based advertising and no remarketing
- no advertising ID: the app removes the Android advertising ID permission
To deliver ads, limit how often they appear and prevent fraud, Google may process limited technical information:
- the device's IP address, used for approximate location
- device and app information
- ad interactions
Google handles this information under its own policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
In-app purchase
Parents can buy a one-time "Remove ads" option on the grown-ups screen, which is behind a parental gate. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play; we never receive payment or card details. If the app is reinstalled, Google Play restores the purchase automatically.
Information stored on the device
To let your child continue where they left off, the app saves the following only on the device:
- game progress: stars, unlocked islands and stickers
- which letters, numbers and words your child finds tricky, so the game can practice them more often
- sound settings: music, sound effects and voice on or off
This information never leaves the device, and we cannot see it. You can delete it at any time:
- with "Start over" on the grown-ups screen, which is behind a parental gate
- by uninstalling the app
Children's privacy
The app is designed for children aged 3 to 8. It complies with:
- the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
- the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including its rules for children's data
- Google Play's Families Policy
We do not collect, sell or disclose children's personal information. Ads are served only with Google's child-directed settings described above.
The grown-ups screen, purchases and outside links are protected by a parental gate: hold a button for 3 seconds, then answer a multiplication question. This stops young children from opening them by accident.
Third parties
The only third-party services are Google AdMob (ads) and Google Play Billing (the "Remove ads" purchase). All artwork, music and voice are bundled inside the app.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this policy and change the effective date above before the change takes effect.
